Vettel Quickest in Free Practice 3 With MSC in 7th




In a stark contrast to yesterday, the sun shone on Montreal in all its glory. In the last mad dash to make alterations to the cars, Sebastian Vettel remained on top form throughout the final practice session of the weekend.

Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso appear to be Seb’s biggest threat if FP3 times are anything to go by. However, since when has Free Practice 3 been a reliable source for qualifying results? Well… never.

After Nico Rosberg’s session ended rather abruptly, Michael Schumacher was left on track to collect all the data for Mercedes.

For any fans who are superstitious, this weekend could be extremely rewarding for Michael. With a significant number of sevens coming into play, it would be the perfect race meeting to finally lift the trophy.

When asked about his chances of winning in Canada, Michael responded, “Put it this way, I like number seven.”.

Where did he finish on the timesheets at the end of Free Practice 3? 7th.
