Schumi masters the Nordschleife

Well, that's another thing to cross of the bucket list. Michael Schumacher has now completed a lap around the challenging Nordschleife circuit. Joined by Nico Rosberg, Bernd Schneider, Bernd Mayländer, and Karl Wendlinger, the demonstration was part of the spectacular pre-race demonstrations at the 24H Nueburgring race.

Schumacher to make an appearance at charity match

Riviera Times claim that Michael Schumacher will once again join the lineup for the annual charity football match to be held in Monaco later this month. The seven-time World Champion is to be flanked by his compatriot Sebastian Vettel as they play against Prince Albert and the Star Team.

Vettel lines up P3 behind a Mercedes front row

Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton have secured an all-Mercedes front row ahead of tomorrow's Spanish Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel treading on their heels in P3. Circuit de Catalunya had tended to favour the front row starters in the past but Sebastian is in a promising position to rewrite the ways of the track.

Sebastian Vettel made up for valuble time lost this morning by completing a substantial amount of timed laps in Free Practice 2. After setting a dismal time only worthy of P19 in the first Free Practice session, Seb has proved to look competitive in the long runs.

Free Practice 1 affected by rainfall in Spain

With the Spainish Grand Prix not only being the launch of the European season but also the kickoff of the fierce development race, rain was sure to make an uninvited entrance to spoil the party. Little was gained from the first Free Practice session as the day got off to a slow start at the drizzly Circuit de Catalunya.

Michael Schumacher is to say a final goodbye to his Formula 1 career next month as the legendary driver takes on a legendary circuit. On May 19th, he will climb into the Mercedes F1 car once more for a lap of honour around the Nordschleife circuit in Germany.

Sebastian Vettel has wrapped up his twenty-eighth career win as sailed to an effortless victory in the Bahrain desert. After building up a stellar gap, reminiscent of those we often witnessed in 2011 (also known as 'doing a Seb'), Sebastian joined Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean on the podium - a mirror image of the podium last season.

Fiesty fight to the finish in Shanghai

In a bid to prove that he is a deserving World Champion after the backlash he has faced over the past few weeks, Sebastian Vettel fought to the finish line at the Shanghai International Circuit. After starting on the medium tyre compound, Seb's last stop saw him switching these for the soft compound which had notoriously high tyre wear.
